Clark Atlanta University (CAU) was the place where we first crossed paths. The lively campus and shared university experience set the stage for our unexpected connection.

When Will moved on to pursue a dual-degree engineering program at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NC A&T), our relationship faced the challenge of long-distance. We had to navigate the ups and downs of being miles apart.

In 2020, like so many others, the COVID-19 pandemic threw a wrench in our plans. With lockdowns and travel restrictions in place, this new distance tested our bond but we found ways to make it work. Even with miles between us, we relied on technology to stay close. Video calls, virtual date nights, and constant messages became our way of keeping the connection alive. Rather that driving us apart, the distance only made our relationship stronger.

Our story is proof that love can thrive, even from afar. The challenges of long-distance and the pandemic only deepened our bond, showing that with communication, patience, and a little creativity, love can weather any storm. Our journey is a beautiful reminder that love can endure, no matter the obstacles.
